We wish all the moms and moms at heart a Happy Mother’s Day! As we look forward to this very special day, the mothers in the Paradise Galleries team are happy to share their most favorite parenting memories.

I’ll never forget the day when I told my 4 year old daughter that she was going to have a baby brother - just what she had wished for when she blew out the candles on her 4th birthday cake! I showed her the sonogram and she laughed and cried at the same time because she was so unbelievably happy! Another favorite memory was when I was watching my two girls under the age of 2 painting together and laughing. At that moment, I was an exhausted mom with a toddler and an infant, but I saw how much my girls loved playing with each other, and it made all the hard work of having 2 kids back to back worth it!

My favorite memory as a mother was when our oldest son Bradley met his little brother Gavin. Bradley couldn’t wait to be a big brother and was beyond excited to meet Gavin. At that moment, our family was complete.

My favorite parenting moments aren’t the big events, or the usual milestones, but they lie within the little moments that happen every day. It’s everything from being woken up by little footsteps padding into our bedroom, to the little sticky hand that reaches for mine after sharing an ice-cream on a hot day. Or seeing the little crinkle on their nose as they giggle together, and sharing a bedtime book that has been cherished from my childhood days. Having children has taught me to enjoy and live in the moment and I’ll always be grateful to them for that.
