With her beautiful dark brown curly hair and sweet smile, it's easy to see why Alanna has stolen so many hearts. Every detail, from her loving facial expression to her outfit, reflects the dedication of the Paradise Galleries team to faithfully recreate Alanna’s winning portrait, lovingly submitted by her grandmother, Emily. An Interview with Alanna's Grandmother, Emily

What inspired you to enter Alanna in our Beautiful Baby Contest, and how did you feel when you found out she won?

What inspired me to enter Alanna in the beautiful baby contest was knowing if she won I would have a look alike doll like her forever. She is my 1st granddaughter. I have 5 grandsons before her. I was the happiest person when I found out she won. I was so excited to tell her she was the winner.

Can you tell us more about Baby Alanna's personality or some fun or memorable moments with her?

Alanna is a very loving child. She loves her dolls. She has her own collection of Paradise Galleries dolls. Alanna loves to dance. She was just chosen to be in the Elite dance team. She dances ballet, tap, lyrical and hip hop. Alanna enjoys to swim and is a very active in school and made the A/B honor roll.

How do you feel about having a doll modeled after Alanna? What are your thoughts on the likeness and quality of the doll?

I feel very honored and lucky to have a doll modeled after Alanna. It’s a doll I and Alanna will cherish and love for the rest of our lives.
