Smiling Sleeper
Smiling Sleeper is a realistic sleeping baby doll in a cute gender-neutral baby doll ensemble. Outfit includes a short-sleeved white jersey knit onesie with bedtime lullaby imprint all over in pale seafoam green and gray. His ultra-soft teal Sherpa hooded sleeper is inspired by the children’s storybook, “Where the Wild Things Are” by Maurice Sendak. This lifelike baby doll also arrives with a magnetic pacifier to provide the best nap ever while snuggled against your shoulder.

A Note From the Artist
"As an artist, when sculpting either from pictures or from fond memories that is always where I begin. With Smiling Sleeper it was remembering my own children when they were small in the moments of pleasant sleep when I would notice a slight smile would appear on their tiny little faces. I can only imagine it was from a sweet dream. Sculpting each doll is a unique experience and this one in particular was pulled from memories from the past. My hope would be that collectors could also relate to his smiling slumber and connect back to their own fond memories of their own children or family members. Each face I create has a different feeling and thought process behind it and it’s nice to share that with the collectors, invite them into to be part of the story."

Her kitten sleeping sack with tail and hind paw appliques keeps her warm and cozy while she drifts off to dreamland. Sing her favorite lullaby and delight in the soft pitter-patter of her little baby feet as she purrs in your arms. Sleeping Kitten also arrives with a kitten cap to cover her soft light brown hair that needs extra care from her mama.

"I was pleasantly surprised with the little Sleeping Kitten! Many thanks for your interest in my sculptures. This is the last life-size baby I modeled, then suspended due to a problem with my hands. I really hope to be able to go back to modeling soon. I miss handling polymer clay so much!"

Meet Pat Moulton
Latest sculpt: Smiling Sleeper
Pat Moulton’s love of dolls started early and has carried on over a 30 year sculpting career and resulted in multiple awards. As an experienced artist, Pat loves seeing her vision become a reality through the clay that she uses. Her family is at the core of her inspiration, with five grandchildren helping spur on her ideas and her master mold maker husband, Garel, supporting her every step of the way.

Meet Fiorenza Biancheri
Latest sculpt: Sleeping Kitten
Hailing from the Italian village of Seborga, Fiorenza's European roots really come through in her artistry. Fiorenza began sculpting small dolls made with salt-paste and polymer clay. After attending some training courses, she started to work with fabric dolls and then started making porcelain dolls. One of her biggest inspirations is the world of fantasy. She loves sculpting fairies, gnomes and pixies too!
